NBA superstar Stephen Curry has helped donate over 20,000 pairs of sneakers to kids in Africa.

The Warriors point guard made an appearance at Liberty University, where his brother attended college, to support the ‘Kick’n It’ foundation to donate 20,000 pairs of shoes to children in the Republic Of Congo.

Giving these children the chance to access footwear will help prevent diseases contracted through bare feet.

Curry also spoke at the university and gave the men’s basketball team a pep talk.

Curry is well known for his philanthropic activities including his support of Animal Rescue Foundation, NBA Cares, Nothing But Nets and United Nations Foundation.
