Adele confirmed rumours the she and her longtime beau, Simon Konecki are married at her concert in Brisbane, Australia, at the weekend.

The speculation first began when they were spotted wearing matching rings earlier this year. Adele also added some fuel to the fire when she thanked her husband and son at the Grammys. It may seem like an obvious conclusion to draw, but Adele’s publicist remained quiet and no official announcement was made.

Adele casually mentioned her marriage on Sunday during her Brisbane show at the Woolloongabba when introducing her song ‘Someone Like You’ and recalled what it was like playing it for close family and friends for the first time.

“I could see in their eyes as they were listening to it on their headphones that it reminded them of someone or something and that was what I wanted,” she said.
“I was trying to remember how it was I felt at the beginning of the relationship that inspired that record.
“Because as bad as a break up can be and as bitter and horrible and messy as it can be, that feeling when you first fall for someone is the best feeling on earth and I am addicted to that feeling.”

She followed with: “obviously I can’t go through with those feelings because I’m married now. I’ve found my next person”.

Adele met Konecki back in 2011. They have one son together, 4-year-old Angelo.

We still don’t know when the pair actually said ‘I do’ but the point is, they did.
