NPR have reported Prince’s music will finally be available on streaming services this weekend.

Napster have confirmed that Prince’s records under Warner Bros. will be available to stream this Sunday, the day of the 59th Grammy Awards.

The collection will include hits such as ‘1999’, ‘Purple Rain’, ‘Dirty Mind’, and ‘Sign O’ The Times’.

In the past, Prince has been famously cautious about the illegal upload of his music online and has also been wary of it being available to stream through legitimate methods either.

Fans can now rejoice and have Prince’s music finally available to them, however, there’s cause for thoughts that perhaps this release isn’t honouring Prince’s wishes and memory.

Prince’s music will be available to stream on Napster Sunday 12 February.
