Nike’s highly-coveted Air Jordan 1 in the retro Royal Blue colourway will be officially released in the US on 1 April, although there are ways to buy them before then.

However, shoppers will need a special access code in order to ‘unlock’ the Royal Blue Jordan 1s before their release, as the Nike website states that they currently unavailable. The code seems to be randomly distributed to the lucky shoppers like Nike’s previous early launches.

While the Air Jordan 1s themselves haven’t been released, details of the sneaker have.

The Air Jordan 1 Royal features a premium black leather upper and tumbled-treated royal blue leather sections. The tongue in vintage-inspired, made with nylon and has the Nike Air branding. The midsole is white and the outsole is royal blue. The iconic Nike Swooshes feature in royal blue on the side panels.

The Royal Blue Nike Air Jordan 1s are expected to retail at $160.
