Rapper Kodak Black has been sentenced to 364 days in jail after disobeying the terms of his house arrest.

The sentence was handed down on Thursday after Black was found guilty last month of violating his probation. However, if the rapper completes life skills courses while in jail he could be released after only a month.

Black reportedly violated the terms of his house arrest by attending boxing matches and going to strip clubs without the knowledge or authorisation of his probation officer. Black’s criminal record wasn’t exactly clean beforehand either; he is facing a separate lawsuit in South Carolina over the alleged sexual assault of a woman.

Black also managed to get a bit of recording in too while on house arrest; his debut album ‘Painting Pictures’ was released on 31 March this year and features the Billboard Top 100 hit ‘Tunnel Vision’.
