Although the NBA trade deadline has now passed, some teams are still considering adding new players.

Currently circling the NBA rumour mill is the placement of Australian centre Andrew Bogut.

The Dallas Mavericks traded Bogut for Philadelphia 76ers’ Nerlens Noel during the NBA trade but sources say Bogut is considering all of his options, including requesting a buyout from the Sixers.

According to ESPN, two Dallas Maverick sources say: “they expect Andrew Bogut will choose to join the Cavaliers once he receives a buyout from the 76ers”.

If signed, Bogut would likely play back-up centre to the Cavaliers’ Tristan Thompson.

Cleveland is also expected to add former Utah, Brooklyn and Dallas point guard Deron Williams after the three-time All-Star also reached an agreement to leave the Mavericks.
