Beyoncé has been forced to pull out of Coachella 2017 following advice from her doctors relating to her pregnancy.

If you missed the announcement a few weeks ago, Queen B and her husband Jay Z are expecting twins.

Fans have been questioning whether or not this would affect her performance at Coachella and now we’ve got the answer we’ve been waiting for.

Beyoncé’s representatives at Parkwood Entertainment and Coachella organizer Goldenvoice broke the news in the following statement promising she will make a return to Coachella in 2018:
“Following the advice of her doctors to keep a less rigorous schedule in the coming months, Beyonce has made the decision to forgo performing at the 2017 Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival … However, Goldenvoice and Parkwood are pleased to confirm that she will be a headliner at the 2018 festival. Thank you for your understanding.”

Despite Beyoncé’s absence as a headline performer at Coachella 2017, you can still expect to see Radiohead, Kendrick Lamar, The Avalanches, Lorde and more.

There’s no word yet on whether or not her spot on the lineup will be filled by another act, but we’re speculating (hoping) it might be French electronic heroes Daft Punk or we would love to see a comeback from Kanye West.

Coachella 2017 takes place across two weekends, 14 – 16 April and 21 – 23 April, at Indio’s Empire Polo Club.
