Following last week’s Manchester attack at an Ariana Grande concert that claimed 22 lives and left 59 injured, Ariana has released a full statement and announced a benefit show for the victims.

Ariana first expressed her sorrow very briefly on Twitter; understandably lost for words to address such a profound and horrific event.

But just a few days ago she took to Twitter again to make a lengthy response to the attacks.

“My heart, prayers and deepest condolences are with the victims of the Manchester Attack and their loved ones,” she starts.

“There is nothing I or anyone can do to take away the pain you are feeling or to make this better. However, I extend my hand and heart and everything I possibly can give to you and yours, should you want or need my help in any way.”

She also announced she’ll be returning to Manchester for a benefit concert to raise money for the victims.

“I’ll be returning to the incredibly brave city of Manchester to spend time with my fans and to have a benefit concert in honour of and to raise money for the victims and their families”.

No information has yet been confirmed about when Ariana will return to Manchester but the singer has promised to keep her fans up to date.
